The oxygen-coal lance is a patented product jointly developed by our company and Shougang Jingtang (patent number: ZL2009 2 0277416.2), which is a device for simultaneously injecting oxygen rich gas and coal powder into the blast furnace from the tuyere. Compared with traditional single barrel coal lance, the oxygen-coal lance is a special type of sleeve type spray lance. Coal powder flows through the inner tube of the sleeve type spray lance and enters the blast furnace tuyere, while oxygen rich gas flows into the blast furnace tuyere from the circumferential gap between the inner and outer tubes of the spray lance.

Main advantages of the oxygen-coal lance：

（1）Increasing pulverized coal injection rate

The combustion rate of coal powder in the tuyere swirl zone has been improved by using an oxygen-coal lance for coal injection. Foreign research and practice have shown that the oxygen rich coal injection with an oxygen-coal lance increases the coal ratio by more than 10% compared to single barrel coal injection lance.

（2）Extend the service life of the oxygen-coal lance

The dual cooling of coal powder flow and oxygen rich gas enables the oxygen-coal lance to have better resistance to wear and deformation in high-temperature environments, greatly extending its service life.

As the only unit in China that has mastered the technology of oxygen-coal lance, our company has been providing exclusive services of oxygen-coal lance to three 5500m³ blast furnaces of Shougang Jingtang for a long time.
